Bridging the gap between rural youth talent and leading industries
The Rural Talent Connect initiative, in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), successfully organized a large-scale Job Fair aimed at bridging the gap between rural youth talent and leading industries. The event served as a crucial platform for students to interact with recruiters, gain exposure to real-world opportunities, and explore diverse career pathways.

🎯 Key Objectives
- To connect students from semi-urban and rural backgrounds with reputed employers
- To promote skill-based employment and reduce the rural-urban employment divide

📋 Activities & Engagement
Pre-Fair Workshops
Comprehensive sessions on résumé building, communication skills, and interview preparation were conducted to equip students with confidence and clarity. These workshops helped participants understand professional expectations and industry standards.
One-on-One Recruiter Interactions
Direct engagement sessions helped participants understand specific job expectations, career trajectories, and growth opportunities in various sectors including manufacturing, IT, banking, hospitality, and healthcare.
Career Counselling Booths
Expert counsellors guided students on industry trends, emerging skill requirements, and career planning strategies. These sessions helped students make informed decisions about their professional futures.

Immediate Opportunities: Hundreds of students received on-the-spot interview calls and internship opportunities from participating companies.
Employer Appreciation: Employers appreciated the enthusiasm, discipline, and adaptability demonstrated by rural youth participants.

To further the mission of empowering young minds, Rural Talent Connect launched the Youth Mobilising Wall in Churu — an interactive movement designed to inspire participation, share opportunities, and celebrate youth-led impact. The wall acted as a physical space for youth to pledge, express ideas, and connect with ongoing initiatives.
